Define: In The Money Options

In The Money Options are options that already have real value, also known as Intrinsic Value, built into their price.

In The Money Options are call options that allow you to buy the underlying stock at a lower price and put options that allow you to sell the underlying stock at a higher price. As such, call options are in the money when their strike price is lower than the stock price and put options are in the money when their strike price is higher than the stock price.
